The Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge has commissioned porcelain artist Mary Belle Cordell to paint a picture of George Washington to be unveiled on February 17, 2013 at a fund raiser at a private home. I am very honored to be selected to paint a picture of one of our great presidents. Each year The Freedoms Foundations raises funds to send selected young people to Valley Forge, Pa. to learn about our government.

Last year the Freedoms Foundation gave an award to the book” Happy Birthday Mr. Lincoln”. I was one of the writers featured in this book. I wrote about the porcelain dinner ware that has been used in the White House by each president.
