Mary Belle participated in the Layers show at the 1310 Gallery in Fort Lauderdale. The theme of the show was to explore the complex layers of our lives. She exhibited two encaustic wax-on-board pieces. This was the first time she exhibited her encaustic art creations.
Art work Submitted to Marietta Cob Museum of Art, Atlanta Street SE, Marietta, Ga 20060. The name of the National show is Metro Montage XVII. The gallery and museum is located in a restored court house on the square in Marietta Georgia.I love these old historical restored buildings.I feel that my porcelain art work belongs in these lovely old galleries.
Storm on the Beach
Mary Belle Cordell was informed that two of her porcelain paintings have been accepted in the 12th Annual art Competition sponsored by the city of Pembroke Pines. The artwork will b exhibited at studio 18 in the Pines located at 1101 Poinciana Drive, Pembroke Pines, Fl. ” Storm at Sunset” and “Poppy Number One” are the names of the artwork accepted into this show. The city of Pembroke Pines Arts Culture Advisory Board was established in 2000 for the expressed purpose of encouraging artistic opportunities to all local artists.
The Pear
Mary Belle Cordell will be exhibiting her porcelain art paintings of “Christ on the road to Emmaus” and “The Pear” in the art gallery at the Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, Atlanta Georgia. The Fall show will feature the Fall colors in the paintings. The church has a very active artists group and will have seven shows in the coming year. Mary Belle will be showing her art in these shows.
