The delicate and beautifully rendered porcelain paintings of Mary Belle Cordell reflect her gentle sensibility. This native of Uniontown, Pennsylvania has been a professional artist for the past twenty years. Now based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Mary Belle studied at the Virginia Douglas School of Porcelain Art, the Penland School of Arts & Crafts, and privately with various renowned porcelain art teachers. Currently she teaches at the Boca Raton Museum of Art The Art School.
As a tribute to her fine eye, the works of Mary Belle are in several prestigious private collections, including the collection of best-selling author Mary Higgins Clark. A winner of many awards from regional South Florida art shows, Mary Belle continues to be nourished by her art and the passion it inspires in her teaching.
