Mary Belle Cordell receives Scholarship from the Florida State National League of American Pen Women

Mary Belle was awarded the JUST FOR YOU scholarship from the National League of American Pen Women at November convention in Daytona Beach FI. The scholarship may be used to attend any art school of her choice to continue her work in porcelain art. She will use the scholarship to attend the Georgia by the Sea School of Porcelain Art at Tybee Island, Georgia. She will be studying portrait painting with Internationally known porcelain artist Jane Marcks.

Mary Belle continues to study and teach the art of porcelain painting.

Mary Belle Cordell was one of the honored few who had her work selected to be in the latest juried art exhibit at ARTSERVE GALLERY, 1350 East Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The jurors for this show were William Braemer, Art Fusion Galleries, Marisa j. Pascucci, Boca Museum of Art and Irene Sperber, Miami Art Zine.

Mary Belle says lilt is always an honor to be selected to be in THE ARTBRAVO show because there are so many talented artists who apply each year.” There were a record number of pieces submitted and the caliber of work was extremely high this year. Many of her fine art  porcelain paintings will be exhibited in local galleries and shows in 2014.
