Mary Belle Cordell was juried into the prestigious Impressions Art Show held at The Bonnet House Museum, 900 North Birch Road,Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The judge was Matt Caron, nationally known artist and gallery owner. Her porcelain painting titled “Bonnet House Singers” was sold at this event. Mary Belle has been Vice President of Events and Membership for the Bonnet Alliance . She is presently an adviser to the Bonnet Alliance Board.
Mary Belle was recently commissioned to paint the art work for the covers for two CD’S by composer, pianist Gail Smith. Gail has written and composed the music for many books. She has given concerts nationally. The “Reflections” CD will showcase her many talents. One of the piano arrangements was written especially for Mary Belle. Mary Belle’s painting entitled “Reflections” which features reflections of two swans painted on porcelain will appear on the jacket of the CD. Gail is composing music for her next CD which will include a musical theme about water. She will be using the porcelain painting entitled “Storm on the Beach” on the jacket of that CD.
